A cute Christmas gift idea or something to treat yourself or create some family fun. Making baking just a bit easier.

Jar 1

Ingredients: 200g Mixed Vine fruit (raisins, sultanas, currants), cranberries, candied lemon pieces, candied orange pieces, 50g Dark Brown Sugar.

Add 150ml Brandy, 250g Butter/Marg, Zest & Juice of ½ Lemon, Zest & Juice of ½ Orange.

Bring to boil, Simmer 5 minutes, leave to cool.


Jar 2

Ingredients: 50g Plain White Flour, 25g Ground Almonds, 25g Flaked Almonds, ¼ tsp Baking Powder, ¼ tsp Cinnamon, 1 tsp Mixed Spice.

Add 1 egg

Add to cooled fruit mixture (Jar 1), stir and pour into lined tin, cook for 45 mins, 130C Fan, 150C, Gas 2
