Soup mix is sure to help you fix up a tasty bowl of goodness in no time. It's comprised of pearl barley, green lentils,red split lentils, yellow split peas and green peas.
It's dynamic and ready for any kind of flavouring - Indian, Middle Eastern, Moroccan and North African, oriental or classic European soup recipes.
1. Soak overnight
2. Drain and add to pan with water.
3. Bring to a boil and boil briskly for 10 minutes.
4. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 20-25 minutes or until cooked and tender.
5. Add to soups as required.
